Why I’m Running

I am running because I believe the union is an organized expression of our own power — not a service delivered to us from somewhere else.

Members are not here to sustain an institution for its own sake. The institution exists to strengthen members: their bargaining power, their representation, their knowledge, and their ability to act together.
